So a while ago it was announced by Hitachi that the next generation of hard drives would use "perpendicular" technology, greatly increasing storage capacity.

Today, Seagate Leaks 750GB Barracuda 7200.10.

That's right, it's a 750gb hard drive.

The best news? That's small; it's just the first implementation of the technology. I'm certain that we'll be seeing 1-3 terabit drives within the next 2-3 years.
