Silverbrook's Memjet printer technology available late 2007, company says

This company, Silverbrook, has been doing research for 10 years and has accrued about 3,500 patents. They have come up with an inkjet printing solution that involves a row of inkjet nozzles that span across the entire page, so that the jets don't have to move back and forth. This allows them to print a full-bleed, full color page at the rate of about one page per second.

The above blog entry has a video showing various incarnations of the printer in action.

I've long grown tired of the "Ink Cartels" that have existed for the past few years. I welcome an innovative newcomer that doesn't follow the pack.
